We are so happy to be back at school.
What an exciting week! We had 2 bus days and had our first party of the year. Before Christmas Saleh helped us make friendship bracelets and cards. Each student picked the name of a friend out of a hat. Then they make a bracelet and a card for that friend.
On Friday each student received their bracelet and card.

We celebrated with cookies. They are friendship cookies as they were given to Mrs. Wegner from her good friend.
This week in Grade One we will be learning about Martin Luther King Jr.
We continue daily five. We are now at 10 minutes of reading every day. At home, please remember to read. Some students have already reached 100 books read at home.
We are working on naming the months of the year in order.
We are measuring items in the classroom and ourselves. We use units such as cubes, craft sticks, straws, links.....
