We Are Writing Sentences

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
Hopefully you had a chance to look at your child's Fall Book,

We are working on writing one or more sentences using words that we know and words from around the classroom.

Last week we practiced recognizing and writing these words:

I
is
to
see
look
like

                            We are also working on stretching out words to hear and write the sounds.

Success Criteria For a Sentence

• begins with a capital letter
• ends with punctuation (. ! ?)
• finger spaces between words
