Wow it is June!

 

This Week in Grade One

 

Monday June 2     New spelling words

 

 

Tuesday June 3rd        Return math bags

 

 

Wednesday June 4th

 

 

Thursday June 5th     Please return library book

                               Field trip to Annie  Noon-2:30

                                Math bags go home

 

                                   Carnival 5:00 to 7:00

 

Friday June 6th              PA Day   No school for students

Our caterpillars ate and ate and got bigger and bigger. 

When they are ready, they climb to the top of the container and hang upside down in a J.

The next stage is a chrysalis.

 

 

 

We pinned the chrysalis. to the netting in our special butterfly cage.

 

And around 8 days later.......

Totally different on the underside.

Our CCI student completed her project on her placement in our Grade 1 class.  She did an excellent job!
