Our Word Wall Words From Last Week

Last week in Grade One

The Camp Quality Puppet Program came to Cameron Street.  The Puppet Show is designed to help children understand the importance of caring for and offering support to on another, especially when a child has a major illness such as cancer.

The puppets reminded us to show kindness, compassion, helpfulness, and respect.

Kindness is showing you care by doing something nice for others.
Compassion is when you see someone feeling alone or troubled and you help them.
Helpfulness is doing something useful to help others without being asked or by asking, "How can I help?"

Ms. Garner has completed her practise teaching block with us.  She is going back to North Bay to Teacher's College.  She did a great job!  She is going to be an excellent teacher.

We had a party to say good bye.
